Account
The Account page gathers your license, product, and personalization options in one place. Unlike most backstage pages, it is available even when no project is open, so you can register Volvicon, review your license, or switch themes at any time.
Opening the Account Page
- Open the File tab
- Click Account in the navigation panel
The Account entry sits just above Preferences in the navigation panel.
User Information
The top-left card shows the details of the person the active license is registered to:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The full name on the license |
| The email address on the license | |
| Company | The organization on the license (shown only when present) |
These values are read from your installed license. If license holder details are unavailable, the card shows placeholder text.
Product Information
The right-hand card summarizes your installation and license status:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Product and edition | Volvicon with your license edition (for example, Standard, Professional, or Ultimate) |
| Version | The installed software version |
| Release date | When this version was released |
| License status | Whether the license is active, expiring soon, expired, or not registered |
| Expiration | The expiration date and days remaining, or Never for perpetual licenses |
The license status text is color-coded: green for an active license, orange when it is expiring soon, and red when it is expired or not registered.
Actions
Three buttons provide quick access to the most common license and support tasks. These are the same commands found in the Help tab, made available here so they can be reached before a project is loaded.
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Register Volvicon | Opens the License Manager to activate or update your license. When you close it, the Account page refreshes with the updated details. |
| About Volvicon | Opens the About dialog with version, edition, release date, and copyright information. |
| Check for Updates | Checks the update server for a newer version of Volvicon. |
Theme
The Theme picker lets you change the interface appearance. Select any swatch to apply that theme immediately; the active theme is outlined. The same themes are also available from the theme button in the title bar, and your choice applies across the whole application.
