LogFilter

Parameters

How a listing is narrowed, matching the controls of the Operation Log dock. Every field left at its default narrows nothing, so a default-constructed filter is the dock's own default view.

Properties​

preset​

The question being asked. Defaults to the same view the dock opens with.

Type: Type

text​

Free text, matched literally and case-insensitively over the label, the object names, the result, the diagnostic and the script call identity. Never read as a pattern.

Type: str

category​

Catalogued category, such as "Surface" or "Preferences". Empty for every category.

Type: str

object_names​

Names of the objects to narrow to, as the history captured them. Empty for every object.
